- Small white tropical species
- Nutritious food for small reptiles, young amphibians, fish and small insects
Springtails are a small white tropical species from South America, approximately 4mm in length and are available in an 80g tub.
Smaller than fruit flies, they are a nutritious food for small reptiles, young amphibians, fish and small insects.
They can also be used effectively as caretakers for damp or wet set-ups as well as with incubating eggs as they help clean up any waste by eating it!
As with all live food, it is essential they are kept healthy. Provided in a self-contained pot of peat, leave the Springtails in a cool place away from bright light.
